Seven-time NASCAR Super Champion Jimmie Johnson is retiring from racing forever

The rest of the time will be focused on spending time with his family 

Johnson told the press that he was eager to make the announcement

According to him, he got a blank sheet of paper, and now what opportunities will come, he wants to start making a calendar

Johnson took two weeks off the IndyCar final - with one weekend spent in England at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with Ganassi teammates Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti.

Johnson also mentioned the idea of trying to live abroad with the kids for a year or two, saying they love Colorado and want to spend more time there.
